Our members
Our members are the lifeblood of our Association, responsible for opening up and cleaning their clinics for Paunu, welcoming the caregivers with their pēpe and collecting attendance data, all in a voluntary capacity.
Our members truly LOVE what they do. Volunteering with Child Welfare is even a family tradition for some members, with multiple generations in the same family signing up to become members themselves, after observing their parents or grandparents serve the Association for decades.
A few of our members have been in Child Welfare for 40, 50 or even 60 years, in dedicated service to their communities, watching local pēpe grow to become adults and bring their own babies to Paunu.
